Research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Research profile

Cartalax research profile

Cartalax is the name used for the synthetic tripeptide Ala-Glu-Asp (AED), also coded T-31 in the literature. It belongs to the group of short "bioregulator" peptides developed by V. Kh. Khavinson's group at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, and has been studied mainly in cell cultures, tissue explants and aged-rodent models.

Frequently asked questions

What is the sequence of Cartalax?

Ala-Glu-Asp (AED), a tripeptide with a calculated molecular weight of about 333.3 g/mol.

What is T-31?

T-31 is the code used for the AED tripeptide in several Khavinson-group papers, including kidney cell culture studies.

How do I verify my lot?

Scan the QR code on the vial. It opens the certificate of analysis for that lot, with HPLC purity and the mass spectrometry identity result.
