Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro) derived from tuftsin. Supplied as a lyophilized powder in sealed vials. Each batch has its own certificate of analysis (COA), which opens when you scan the QR code on the label. For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use.
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide, Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro. It was designed by extending tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg), a naturally occurring tetrapeptide, with a Pro-Gly-Pro sequence that is associated with greater resistance to peptidase breakdown. It was developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro (TKPRPGP), a heptapeptide with a molecular weight of about 751.9 g/mol.
Selank contains the tuftsin sequence Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg, extended with Pro-Gly-Pro at the C-terminus.
Scan the QR code on the vial to open the certificate of analysis for that lot, with HPLC purity and mass spectrometry identity.
For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary use. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Literature references are provided for scientific context and do not describe this product's suitability for any use.
